Welcome!

This is my first blog post to get things started. This blog will describe the adventures I have, and will take this year. There will be three major trips which I will be posting about; there brief descriptions are below.

My first trip was to Northern Ireland where I went with the vocational center at my school. There we learned about the conflict between the Catholics and Protestants, and about what is being done. I will post pictures and more information about that trip in the near future.

My second trip will be to the Rocky Mountains where I am going with my university's Earth and Environmental Science Department for a May-mester class. There we will be learning about the "-ologies" of Yellow Stone National Park, The Grand Tetons, Mount Rushmore, The Black Hills, etc. For this trip I will be writing a combination of a travel and field log.

The final and longest trip I am taking this year will be from August to December in Suzhou, China. This is a semester long study abroad program offered by my school. Since China has strict regulations on social media this will be your connection to me and mine to you.
